Steven Ilous is an award winning writer-director from Los Angeles, California. In 2015, Steven's short film POLIS won the Prototype Competition Grand Prize, a first look development deal with New Regency ( BIRDMAN, TWELVE YEARS A SLAVE, FIGHT CLUB ) with David Fincher set to produce.
With a diverse background in digital arts and computer technology, Steven has worked at Sony Imageworks and independently on over 17 feature films in various visual effects roles. Most notably working on Performance Capture techonology on both the Matrix Sequels and Robert Zemeckis' "The Polar Express". Since then he has directed various commercial spots and music videos. In 2011, he created original video content for Kanye West's live tour. The Superslice listed Ilous 25th on their list of the Top 100 cultural influencers.
As a writer, director Steven has worked with international recognized companies such as New Regency, Mandalay, Legendary, Warner Bros, EA/ DICE, Dreamworks and 20th Century Fox.
Steven is currently in developement on the sci-fi feature ARC with the acclaimed producers of Kennedy Marshall ( JURASSIC PARK , BACK TO THE FUTURE, BORNE IDENTITY). He is also attached to direct APEX, a sci-fi feature for Mandalay Pictures with producer Jason Berman (BIRTH OF A NATION ).
